Day 2

Similar to Day 1, but with considerably less fanfare. When asked if he did fun stuff today, he replies, oh yes, all kinds of fun stuff. Me: Like what? L: Just all the fun stuff that I loooove to do. About as vague as one can get.

Got a good description of how far away the music room is. "Down there by some bathrooms. A boys bathroom and one for girls". Check.

Also, dad forgot the information about non-new clothes on Wednesdays, due to Art Class and the paints involved therein. Healthy red blobs on the shorts. He claims it's just marker, like that makes it better.

Lunchbox remnants=Entire packed lunch minus 3 nibbles from the apple. Solid.

Another Day 1 Diddy

Overheard: "I didn't see Diya, Gracie or Garrett. They must be skipping."

Kindergarten Day 1

Day 1 is in the books. Among the highlights were actually getting to go to the music room for Mrs. Arwady's music class. As opposed to preschool where she came to them. According to Liam, they were now big enough to go.

He also enjoyed snack time, but actually ate his "main course" instead. The snack is still in the lunchbox.

He also expressed enjoyment at eating in the gym with all the other kids, although, again, judging by the contents of his lunchbox, not much dining took place.

He made reference to several classmates by telling me "Of course Nicholas was there. Of course Kaitlyn was there", as if I doubted such, followed by "but no Garrett!"

On the way to the car, in an almost giddy, happy tone he says, "I cannot wait to come back tomorrow!" So there's that. Then some muttering about some kid, some story, and how something didn't happen.

Mrs. Kramer summarized today as "An Awesome Day".

Go get 'em buddy.
